Exclusive report on Sutil’s fight in China
RAI and TF1 already reported that Adrian Sutil was involved in a bar fight after the Chinese Grand Prix, but 422race.com is now able to reveal the details of this matter. The person involved in the fight with the Force India driver was Eric Lux, Genii Capital’s number 2 and right-hand man of Gerard Lopez, the owner of Lotus Renault GP. Paddock observers noticed scars on Lux’s throat in Istanbul and a spokesman from the team confirmed the incident. "I can confirm that there has been an incident on Sunday after the Chinese GP involving Eric Lux, from Genii Capital," he said to 422race.com. "Lotus Renault GP is however not in a position to make any comments, as it is a private matter between Eric and the other person."
The fight happened at the M1NT club on Sunday night. Observers noticed Lux rushing through the crowd from a private room blood streaming down his neck looking really freaked out. A few seconds later Lewis Hamilton was rushed past by his bodyguards from the same VIP room. Our sources couldn’t confirm if his friend Adrian Sutil was with him or not, but after a few seconds, when they went into the VIP room, there was no sign of him. No rumours have been spread on the reason for the fight, but Sutil apparently had to run out of China to avoid legal problems on the matter. An official spokesman from the FIA, instead, confirmed to 422race.com that they are not investigating the matter and aren’t going to take any further actions on Sutil about this. A spokesman from Force India said to 422race.com that "it is a private matter between the parties involved and we don’t have any information on that, so we don’t want to make any comment."
