A new day for Williams

02 Jan

Well, 2012 started in a brand new way for Williams. Last day of 2011 they announced the already awaited move of Patrick Head stepping down from the Board of Directors. But there was also another move.

Via facebook Williams invited us to “Like” their new fan page. Nothing spicy there. But they removed the AT&T from its name. They removed also the att from their website, as also all the AT&T logos. Is this the end of the long time relationship? Are they after a new title sponsor?

All looks that way. The relationship started back in 2007 and it seems that Williams is looking at something new.

I wonder who got fired for having the AT&T on the 2012 entry list, if, indeed, they are no longer sponsoring the team.

Why? The FIA entry list can change any minute

I thought the entry name was one of the things that could only be changed with the consent of all competitors after the entry list had been published. I guess not.
